believe in your business: salon Black Friday marketing

Top 4 Tips For Salon Black Friday Marketing

Black Friday is coming – but is your Salon Black Friday Marketing ready? If you are not big on deals and discounts, it can be tempting to ignore Black Friday altogether. Don’t – it is a great opportunity for your salon. Black Friday triggers loads of consumer shopping in the lead up to Christmas. If you get your marketing right, you will benefit.

If you’re going to offer deals at any time of year, Black Friday is a good time because clients know it is a limited time offer. It also doesn’t weaken your business for the other days of the year.

Build the Excitement

Black Friday falls on November 29th in 2024. In the lead up to Black Friday create as much hype as possible. Use social media, emails and even SMS to let clients and potential clients know what’s on offer. Let them know what retail products they can buy, and how they can buy. Is it through DMs, over the phone, or in-store only? Build the excitement and tap into client FOMO!

Get Retail Ready

On the actual day, have plenty of retail products ready to go in bundles. Make it as easy as possible for clients to buy and have sale prices clearly visible. Make sure clients know the savings and deals they are getting.

Get Rid of Old Stock

Black Friday is a good opportunity to get rid of old stock in time for the new year. Put anything discontinued, nearing its end date, and one-off items on sale. Have a basket by the till for these Black Friday deals so clients see what’s on offer before they leave. Make sure the discount is clear.

Gift Cards

For people who want to take advantage of deals, but don’t know what they want, have gift cards ready to go. Prepare a gift card upgrade sale for one day only. Make the best deals only available in January to boost your post-Christmas sales. You could offer a $50 treatment gift card, but they get $75 to spend in January.

Courses

Black Friday is also a great time to get clients to invest in a course. Offer free patch tests, consultations and taster treatments. Make sure they patch test in advance.  Advertise courses at ‘one day only‘ deals. Either discount or have add-ons. Make the deals fit your business.

Reward Regular Clients

For your regular clients who already have a range of treatments and buy homecare from you, spoil them! Show your appreciation and treat them with complimentary Black Friday gifts and upgrades. It could be a face mask or massage upgrade.

Salon Black Friday marketing is worth the effort. Work out what fits your business and capitalise on customers looking for a bargain.
